I have so much to tell you! both good and bad but to be honest Missionary Work is so tough! But I do enjoy it thus far! I have only been out here for like 5 days maybe and I'm starting to learn more and more! We visited with a couple "investigators" but they're not progressing unfortunately... But they want us to keep going. My Trainer's name is Elder Bresenski! he's from Misoula MT and Has been out for 20months!! He's a great companion. During the first 12 weeks I have 1 hour of Personal Study and 2 hours of Companionship before we get to leave the house. The area that i was assigned to is Kokomo North part and let me tell you the people here are very down to earth very nice but something about the area kind of scare me. The houses are run down and very old. People seem to be addicted to tobacco and drugs... I guess you can say that the area I'm in is Ghetto... My companion said that it's dying.. but we're doing our best to find people to talk to. This place is definitely far from what i'm used to. Makes me realized how blessed I am. I'm getting 140 a month. Doesn't seem like much but luckily the people here feed me and do laundry for the missionaries so i'm blessed! We have 3 other sisters missionaries in our ward but 1 of them is waiting for her visa to go to Brazil. Anyway I miss you guys and one thing i learn this week is how to study effectively. The more I read the more I know that The book of mormon is the true words of God. My testimony of it grows tremendously. I know that it's hard to get the entire family into reading the scriptures but enduring to the end is what we must do. Ohh concerning elder Murry and Christenson; they were "acting" and teaching us before we left the MTC it was really interesting and entertaining experience. I gotta say I miss the MTC donuts... Whenever I feel homesick or just feel like it's tough All i had to do is go out and work some more and the feelings go away! talking about miracles! I hope everythign else is goign well at home! Ohh I'm so tired at the end of the day! it's crazy how tiring it can be both mentally and physically! I hope to hear from you again!
